The Health Life Of Sudhir Choudhrie

Sudhir Choudhrie was diagnosed with an unusual condition when he was eight years old. This was after his mother decided to take him for a general health observation before registering for an insurance cover. The doctor realized that his heart had a hole and a leaking valve. This affected the normal functioning of his heart since it skipped several beats making him undergo terrible medical situations.

At some point, the doctors were forced to restart his heart for his well-being. This condition gave room for the entry of other medical complications that made his general health status to be fragile. Sudhir Choudhrie continued growing up, although in a devastating condition. On some occasions, he was hospitalized, making it hard for him to continue with his business activities. However, he always tried to ensure that all other his businesses are running smoothly.

When Sudhir Choudhrie attained the age of fifty, his condition became severe. It reached a point where it called for an emergency heart transplant surgery to save his life. This seemed to be impossible since his family never knew where it could acquire another heart to replace with the fragile one. Choudhrie was lucky since he was travelling to the United States. He was taken to the Columbia University Medical Center for an emergency heart surgery.

Sudhir Choudhrie was lucky since he got a heart from another young man who had died from a road accident. The family of the dead agreed to donate the heart since the Choudhrie heart had only remained with several beats to stop functioning. Dr. Mehmet Oz took over the surgery session and transferred the new heart to Choudhrie. This was a major surgery that took about twenty-four hours.

After the surgery, Sudhir Choudhrie managed to get out of the theatre alive. After several sessions of therapy, Choudhrie began living a better life like any other individual. Currently, Choudhrie is listed among the longest-serving heart transplant victims.
